DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Corsair No. 8" ship's lever, 8 day, time only, spring-driven 11 jewel balance wheel movement with center seconds in a brass case with hinged bezel and hasp, 8 inch silvered dial with Arabic numerals, inner seconds track, and black spade hands.
CONDITION:
The heavy polished brass case has some fine scratches and fine cracks in the the lacquer when viewed at an angle. The silvered dial is in excellent condtion with a slight amount of darkening from age. The black finish on the brass hands has worn a little on the edges. The movement is stamped with the Seth Thomas trademark and "1-41 ". The movement ticks.
